Our Story

The Natural Beauty Shop Finland was born in 2014 from a simple but powerful belief — that nature already has everything your skin and hair need. No harsh chemicals. No synthetic shortcuts. Just the purest ingredients the earth has to offer.

What started as a small passion project has grown into one of Finland’s most loved organic beauty destinations — with a physical store in the heart of Helsinki and customers across the country who trust us with their most personal care routines.

Where It All Began

We started with a question many of us were asking: why are so many beauty products full of chemicals we can’t even pronounce? We believed there was a better way — and we set out to find it.

Drawing on the rich beauty traditions of Africa and the clean, natural philosophy of Nordic living, we began crafting our own organic cosmetics right here in Helsinki. Each product was made by hand, tested on ourselves and our families, and refined until it was something we were truly proud of.

Today we manufacture the majority of our Cosmetics in Helsinki using certified organic raw materials — and import carefully selected brands that meet the same strict natural and ethical standards we hold ourselves to.

What We Stand For

100% Natural & Organic Every product we make is free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, sulfates and artificial additives. We use only plant-based organic ingredients — because your skin deserves nothing less.

Ethically Sourced African Crafts Our handcrafted products — from sleep bonnets to woven baskets and copper jewelry — are sourced directly from artisans in East and West Africa under fair trade principles. When you buy from us, you support real people and real communities.

Vegan & Cruelty-Free All of our own products are 100% vegan. We never test on animals and never will.

Made in Finland We are proud to manufacture our Cosmetics in Helsinki. Supporting local production, reducing our carbon footprint and creating products we can stand behind with full transparency.
